If you’re anything like me, you love a good beer at the end of a hard day of work. Whether at the bar or at home, I love a great craft beer. Like an eager dog waiting for his treat I stare down the beer as the bartender gently places it in from of me. With every taste I could feel my body start to relax. Anxiety and stressed has been replaced by a gentle calm felt to a molecular level in my body. You could probably tell I’m a romantic, and beer is my love.
It never fails, after the first drink I always look back at my glass in awe. I think about all the people, ingredients and work that took place for that beer to sit in front of me. Admittedly so, I tend to over analyze everything, but I wonder what the gardeners, the pickers, the brewer, the distributer and the bar owner would say if they knew the final product sat right in front of me, giving me the relaxation I have been craving for all day.
You may think that I am an alcoholic, but I assure you that there is nothing further from the truth. I do not condone drinking in excess or driving under the influence. What I do implore you to do, is to get to know The Artistry of Craft. Don’t be fooled, craft beer is an art form. My goal is to highlight the work of these artists one beer at a time.
